About Me

My name is Hemjit Saha, and I am currently pursuing Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Data Science at VIT Chennai. Having completed my schooling under the ISC curriculum with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science in St. Xavier's Collegiate School, I developed an early interest in problem solving and programming, which continues to shape my academic and career choices.

A key moment in my journey was qualifying the JEE Advanced examination. Preparing for it required discipline, consistency, and flexibility. Achieving this milestone boosted my confidence to aim higher and pursue a career in technology. Choosing Computer Science with Data Science at VIT enabled me to focus my studies on my interests in programming, data, and practical problem solving.

Over the years, I have built skills that I continue to refine:

• Programming: Proficient in Java (from my school curriculum) and currently learning Python.

• Problem Solving: Experienced in algorithms, data structures, and logical reasoning.

• Teamwork and Collaboration: Contributed to school projects and group study initiatives.

• Adaptability: Transitioning from Java to Python while balancing new academic challenges.

• Leadership: Served as Event Head and HOD of a department in my school fest XUBERANCE.

I believe technology is most impactful when it solves real-world problems efficiently. At VIT, where world-class labs meet great minds, I look forward to combining my technical knowledge with research and practical applications in data-driven systems and machine learning.
